HOW TO VERIFY YOUR WORDPRESS WEBSITE WITH YANDEX WEBMASTER
WordPress hosts billions of pages and millions of websites. It has a large market share and I guess that most of your websites are on WordPress, so I want to share very specific info related to this platform. To verify my website I used the same plugin I showed you in my previous articles (to see how to install it, click here): the “All in One SEO Pack” plugin – you DON’T need the pro version.
Let’s start!
The first step: register your Yandex account.
Now, select the “+” button (or “Add site”) and paste your website URL.
A window will appear, showing different verification methods. Select the “Meta tag” and copy only the alphanumerical code.
Go to the General Settings of your All in One SEO Pack page without closing the Yandex Webmaster page. Scroll down to the “Webmaster Verification” section and paste the code in the “Yandex Webmaster Tools” field. Save changes and go back to your Yandex page. Click on check and…that’s all!
COMPLETE YOUR VERIFICATION WITH YANDEX SUBMITTING YOUR SITEMAP
If you don’t know where to get your sitemap URL, read this article – DON’T WORRY, IT IS VERY EASY.
To submit your sitemap, go to your Yandex Webmaster and under the “Tools” section you will find “Sitemap validator”. Select “URL” and paste your sitemap. Click check. That’s all.
CONGRATULATIONS
You reached the end of the article and you submitted your website to Yandex Webmaster! Your website will be verified in a while.

Hello there thanks for this review it was really helpful. Well there are several ways to verify if your website is legitimate or not. You can either use pinterest or google or even yandex. I have not tried using yandex because most of the times I use google or sometimes pinterest. I will try using yandex next time.

Hey nice article you have there, your approach is indeed invaluable. I was researching online on how to verify my website, I was directed to this article. Having gone through the simplified process that is involved in Yandex, I am convinced that it will be a perfect platform for me to start the verification of my website.
