The last day – maybe not – of this amazing experiment!
The end of this 30-day IG Journey
Casually, this journey ended on December 25th. I took a couple of free days to stay with my family, so I hope you will forgive me for publishing this blog post a couple of days after the actual end of my experiment!
As you can see from the number of followers, the objective adopted before starting this IG experiment wasn’t reached. A complete failure.
Well, maybe not complete, because I learned a lot of useful things.
First of all, I set up a strategy.
This especially thanks to the method of one of my virtual mentors, Gary Vee: this method is enclosed in his amazing platform, Dollar Eighty (always thanks to Squared for letting me discover Dollar Eighty!).
I modified the strategy, to make it fit my needs – and to drive traffic to my website, but the initial idea was taken from the amazing Gary Vee.
Note: Dollar Eighty is a platform where you can set up your IG strategy to increase the number of followers and improve engagement.
There, you can set up your targets and hashtags you are interested in, and engage with posts and accounts directly from the platform. Everything you need is in the same place and you see only what you are interested in!
Second, I discovered how to use social media in a way I’m comfortable with.
I told you many times that I don’t love using social media, but when it comes to my business, I know that avoid them is extremely detrimental if I want to spread the word about my brand.
During this 30-day journey, I discovered it is more than that, more than just spreading the word.
In fact, I met a lot of wonderful professionals – of course, I knew also many people who just chase money, but this is our world.
So, social media are amazing if you want to build fruitful and interesting relationships. At the end of the day, there are people behind those accounts. And building relationships requires time.
So I decided to accept my failure, but not to give up: I will put the same effort into building my account, and I will wait.
Note: Squared is a website that provides entrepreneurs with the right Instagram knowledge to make the most out of this social media.
That’s all for today, and maybe for a couple of days, my dear readers. In fact, I think I will go on with my diary, but not every day.
Just once a week, increasing the number of blog posts per week only when there will be something very necessary to share.
It was a pleasure to make this journey with you!
I wish you success and an amazing 2021!
Stay tuned! See you next time! 🙂
